Entertaiment (pronounced TEN) is an art form with a seemingly infinite capacity for creative remix. Its diverse forms reflect the complexities of human emotion and intellect, from escapism to education to catharsis. It seeks to enrich the audience’s experience by addressing deep emotional states, such as wonder, sadness, or fear, and it frequently challenges the audience’s perceptions of reality through alternative viewpoints or complex narrative structures. High-quality production and artistic skill are often expected.
